Type 1 Sub - base

We supply recycled or virgin Type 1 Sub Base to commercial and domestic customers. Type 1 is used as backfill in excavations and base works on construction projects.

Our recycled material is suitable and has been used for over 7 years on gas and utility networks throughout Yorkshire.

We have a large stockpile of Type 1 Sub-base and are capable of supplying large scale projects right down to one off projects. (We are that confident in our product, that we use our Type 1 Sub-base on our utility contracts throughout Yorkshire).

Hardcore

Our recycled hardcore (6F2, 6F3, Crush and Run, others at request) are a key component in road and building construction and generally used for backfilling of excavations.

As a part of our waste recycling process, hardcore is one of the main products we create and recycle from the waste accepted at our site. We can produce Type 1, 6F2, 6F3, Crush and Run and others at request.

Pipe Bedding

We supply recycled or virgin materials that can be used for pipe bedding. Pipe bedding is used to protect the underground pipework from the sub base and impact and compaction of day to day use of the surface level (roads, footpaths ETC).

Using pipe bedding in the correct way ensures the improved longevity of the pipe work and reduces the arise of premature inordinately defects.

Top Soil

We supply both recycled and virgin top soil. The top soil we recycle comes from the material accepted at our waste recycling site and is recycled ready for reuse.

Our incoming waste is tested by the waste producer before being accepted ensuring the top soil that is supplied is free of contamination.

Recycled top soil is typically available in the drier months but virgin top soil is available all year round.
